The inaugural Capri-Chubb ITF Tournament a great success!

The weather wasn’t the only hot thing in Kelowna this summer.  We were host to an exclusive ITF Tennis Pro World Circuit Event, Kelowna Future Tennis.  The event co-sponsored by Capri Insurance Services and Chubb Insurance ran at the Parkinson Rec Center from June 30th – July 8th, 2012.

Asselstine wins prestigious Capri Insurance scholarship
Heat basketball player honored to be selected

Julian Asselstine is the recipient of the third annual Capri Insurance Athletics Entrance Scholarship.

The a first-year engineering student at UBC's Okanagan campus was recently awarded the $2,500 scholarship, renewable for four years, that is funded by an endowment established by Capri Insurance in 2009 to help top scholars, who are also top athletes, attend UBC's Okanagan campus.

Employment Insurance Maximum Change

Effective January 1, 2010, the employment insurance (EI) maximum insurable earnings will increase from $42,300 per year to $43,200. Accordingly, the new EI benefit amount will be $457 per week, an increase from the current $447 per week.
