Peter Weir, GBA
Employee Benefits & Pension Consultant

Peter moved his young family from Vancouver to Kelowna to join Capri Insurance and build his Employee Benefit Practice in early 1992. At that time Peter was one of a handful of local Employee Benefit Specialist. A Balanced Approach is very important to Peter and he endeavours to try and achieve this in all aspects of his life.

In business, he uses his strong trouble shooting skills, wealth of industry knowledge and creative ideas to help his clients seek solutions that fulfill their needs. He is very loyal and has been rewarded by long lasting relationships with his clients. Most of whom have been with Peter for over 15 years. Peter completed his Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation in 2004. He continues to further his education and keep at the leading edge through his active partnership in Employee Benefit Advisors Inc. (EBAI). Canada's leading organization of entrepreneurs in the Benefit & Pension industry.

Peter and his late wife Katriona raised their three boys and have all been very active in our community. Peter has coached many sports, most recently awarded West Kelowna's Hockey Coach of the year for his work with the Midget Tier 1 2008-2009 Team. He has also been active in Charities and sat on boards which have helped build some of our infrastructure in our community. He is an enthusiastic father and benefits advisor, who also enjoys, golf, skiing and hockey, when time permits.
